We document your item in front of you
Model, condition and serial number are logged in front of you, before anything is plugged in. Ask and we will print you a copy.
We test it, then you decide
We ask your permission every time, then the item goes to our workshop benches — a GPU under load, a memory pass, a storage health check. Customers cannot come back there; it is an insurance and security rule, the same as any workshop. Reckon on ten to fifteen minutes per item. Wait in the showroom, or leave and come back; your choice.
Then we confirm your online quote. It changes only if the item is not as described or part of it fails testing — then we show you what we found, offer a parts price, and you decide.

We erase your data, free
Every storage device we buy is securely erased at no charge once the purchase is complete, and you are welcome to watch if you ask. Want it documented? Ask for a Certificate of Data Destruction and we will print it before you go.

When there is a testing backlog, or you have brought a large quantity, we can take it in and call you. Everything is documented and you get a drop-off receipt before you leave.
Common questions
How long does the whole visit take?
Ten to fifteen minutes per item on the bench, plus a few minutes either side. One graphics card is a short visit. A box of eight things is not, and if it is going to be long we will offer to take it in and call you instead.
Can I watch you test my hardware?
Not at the bench — customers cannot enter the warehouse, for insurance and security reasons that every workshop has. What we do instead is tell you exactly what happens before it happens, and show you the results and the reasoning afterwards. If you would rather not hand it over on that basis, that is a completely reasonable position and there is no hard feeling in it.
Do I have to sell if I do not like the offer?
No, and there is no fee for saying no. You take your hardware and go. We would rather you left with your gear than felt cornered into an offer you were not happy with.
