Every category we buy
We are a specialist, not a general secondhand shop. That narrows what we take, and it is why we can price it properly. The person you deal with knows what a socket is. Pick yours:
-
Graphics cards
NVIDIA RTX and GTX, AMD Radeon RX, workstation cards. Usually the most valuable single part in a machine.
-
Processors
Intel Core and AMD Ryzen, any LGA, AM4 or AM5 socket, plus Threadripper and Xeon.
-
Memory
DDR5, DDR4 and DDR3, desktop and laptop, kits and single sticks.
-
Storage
NVMe and SATA SSDs and mechanical drives that pass a health check.
-
Motherboards
On their own, or bundled with the CPU and memory for a better offer.
-
Gaming PCs and desktops
Priced whole and parted out, with both prices shown.
-
Windows laptops
Business and consumer. No Apple, no Chromebooks.
-
Monitors
No instant online quote for a display; describe it and the quote comes by email, usually within 1–2 hours.
Know what you have?
Get your quote online now, before you leave the house. CPUs, GPUs, memory and storage drives get a quote on screen in about a minute. Gaming PCs get an instant estimate on screen, then a confirmed quote by email, usually within 1–2 hours. Laptops, motherboards and monitors get a custom quote by email, usually within 1–2 hours.
What we do not buy, said up front
This is the part most sites bury. We would rather you read it now than load the car for nothing.
Categories we do not take
- Televisions
- Games consoles
- Tablets and smartphones
- Apple products
- Printers
- Chromebooks
- Networking equipment
- Loose power supplies
Condition we do not take
- Locked devices — iCloud, BIOS or MDM
- Water damage
- Cracked laptop screens
- Drives that fail their health check
If it is too old or too far gone to be worth buying, we still recycle computer gear free at the same location, so the drive is not wasted. The full list is here.
Not sure it is worth the trip?
Reasonable question, and these answer it before you load the car rather than after.
- Is my old PC worth selling?Which parts hold value, and when the honest answer is to recycle it.
- Part it out, or sell it whole? What separates the two numbers, and why you do not have to decide first.
- Upgrade or replace? And what the parts coming out are worth.
- What to do with an old computerSell, rehome or recycle, and the data question that applies to all three.
How the quote is worked out
Our pricing is a percentage of what an item is currently selling for used, updated weekly; condition and demand move it from there. You get your quote online before you leave the house, on screen or by email, and we confirm it in person. We do not open low and negotiate up.
We will not beat a patient private sale. We buy to resell, and no shop can. What we do beat is the waiting, the lowball messages and meeting a stranger in a parking lot. More on how we price →
What happens when you walk in
- We log what you brought — model, condition and serial — in front of you, before anything is plugged in. Ask and we will print you a copy.
- We ask your permission before anything goes to the bench. Testing happens on our workshop benches, not out front, and customers cannot come back there — an insurance and security rule, the same as any workshop. Reckon on ten to fifteen minutes per item.
- We confirm your online quote. If a fault turns up we show you the fault, offer a parts price, and you decide.
- You get paid, cash or company check, same day. Say no at any point and take your hardware home — no fee.
We record the serial number and the seller’s ID on every purchase and, if law enforcement asks, we hand over the bill of sale. That is why the ID is required, and it is why stolen hardware does not come through this door.
Selling for a business
Every business sale carries a Bill of Sale and a Certificate of Data Destruction as standard, and for a full office clearout we collect on site. A few machines can simply be brought in.

Common questions
Do I need an appointment to sell computer parts?
No. Walk in Tuesday to Saturday between 12:00 and 5:30 PM. The only time an appointment helps is a large lot or an office clearout, and for those we will usually come to you instead.
How much can I get for a box of old computer parts?
It depends entirely on what is in the box, and the honest answer is that some of it will be worth real money and some of it will be worth nothing. Bring the whole box — sorting it is our job, not yours, and we will tell you plainly which is which.
Do you buy computer parts that do not work?
Sometimes. Faulty parts often still have value, and a fault is sometimes just a fan or thermal paste. The exception is storage: we do not buy drives that fail their health check, though we will recycle them free.
