Where to unload

We are at 11503 Jones Maltsberger Rd, north of San Antonio International Airport and south of Wurzbach Parkway. Maps will put you outside the right building. It will not tell you which door, which is the bit worth reading before you turn up with a car full of boxes.

Park at the front of the building. Straight down the hallway inside, Suite 1138 — the last door on the right. Carrying several boxes? There is a rear drop-off staffed through business hours, and it saves you the hallway.

Why the quote comes first

We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00 to 5:30. That leaves no room for a pointless trip, so know what you will be paid before you load the car.

Get your quote online: pick the category and find your item. CPUs, GPUs, memory and storage drives get a quote on screen in about a minute. Gaming PCs get an instant estimate on screen, then a confirmed quote by email, usually within 1–2 hours. Laptops, motherboards and monitors get a custom quote by email, usually within 1–2 hours. Your online quote is confirmed at the bench and only changes if the item is not as described or part of it fails testing. It tells you whether the drive is worth making before you lift anything.

Make the one trip carry everything

If you are making the trip anyway, come with everything. There is no per-item limit and no appointment needed, and a bigger pile does not slow us down much — the evaluation runs about ten to fifteen minutes per item, and items queue rather than repeat the paperwork.

  Desktops and Windows laptops, priced both as a working system and as the parts worth reselling, with both prices shown.

• The stuff you were going to throw out

  Bring it. If it is too old to be worth buying we recycle computer gear free at the same location, so nothing goes back in the car.

Worth knowing before you sort the pile: no Apple products, no Chromebooks, no cracked laptop screens, no loose power supplies, and no printers, consoles, tablets or networking gear. The full list is here.

Clearing out an office out that way

Business lots are the one case where the drive is ours rather than yours. On-site collection is available for business lots and office clearouts, which is the single exception to bringing the hardware to us.

Every business sale comes with a Bill of Sale and a Certificate of Data Destruction. Call with a rough machine count and we will tell you which it is.

What happens once you are here

1. We log what you brought — model, condition and serial — in front of you, before anything is plugged in. Ask and we will print you a copy.
2. We ask before anything is tested. Testing happens on our workshop benches rather than in the showroom, and customers cannot come back there; it is an insurance and security rule, the same as any workshop.
3. We confirm your online quote, item by item. It only changes if something is not as described or fails testing.
4. Say yes and you are paid that day, in cash or by company check. Bring a valid photo ID, 18 or over.
