Sell Monitor San Antonio

We do buy monitors. Panel condition decides the price, so there is no instant online quote. Describe yours, add a photo, and a quote is in your inbox, usually within 1–2 hours during business hours.

QUOTE BY EMAIL, USUALLY 1–2 HRS OPEN TUE–SAT 12:00–5:30 · NO APPOINTMENT PAID CASH, SAME DAY

Custom quote by email: usually within 1–2 hours during business hours, and never later than one business day.

Why not just list it

Cash today beats maybe-money in three weeks.

A patient private sale can pay more; it also takes weeks, and it rarely goes to plan — lowball messages, no-shows, a stranger in a parking lot. Here you see how much we pay before you leave the house, and the cash is in your hand the day you walk in. Off your floor, into your pocket.

What we buy

The list, in plain terms.

Gaming displays
High-refresh IPS, VA and OLED panels
Ultrawide
21:9 and 32:9 panels
Professional displays
Colour-accurate and 4K work monitors

Not seeing yours? See what we don't buy. And if it turns out to be too old to be worth buying, we recycle it free on the same visit.

How we price it

What moves the price, and by how much.

Our pricing is a percentage of what the item is currently selling for used, and we update those figures weekly. Beyond that, these are the things we actually look at.

  1. 01

    Panel condition above all

Dead pixels, backlight bleed and burn-in are what decide the price, and none of them can be assessed from a description.

  2. 02

Why there is no instant quote

Two identical model numbers can be worth very different money depending on panel condition. An automated figure would be a guess, and a guess we would have to walk back once you arrived.

  3. 03

    Size and refresh rate

The obvious factors, and the least interesting ones.

  4. 04

    Stand and cables

A missing stand is a real deduction, because proprietary stands are hard to replace.

  5. 05

    Quantity

Office lots are worth a call. We collect on site for business lots.

No surprises

Three steps. One trip. Paid.

  1. Get your quote before you drive. Describe it, add a photo, and the quote is in your inbox, usually within 1–2 hours during business hours, and never later than one business day. We often answer evenings and weekends too. Accept it and bring it in.
  2. Bring it in, no appointment. We log the model, condition and serial number in front of you (photo ID, 18 or over), then check it on the workshop bench — about ten to fifteen minutes per item. Your quote stands unless the item isn’t as described or part of it fails; then we show you what we found, offer a parts price, and you decide.
  3. Walk out paid. Cash or a company check, same day, before you leave. Say no at any point and take it home — no fee, no hard feelings.

We record the serial number and the seller’s ID on every purchase, and hand the bill of sale to law enforcement if they ask. That’s why we need your ID, and why stolen hardware doesn’t come through this door.

Not sure exactly what you have?

The model number is on a sticker on the back of the panel, usually near the stand mount.

Common questions

Before you drive over.

Why can I not get an instant online quote for a monitor?

Because the price depends almost entirely on panel condition, and panel condition cannot be described accurately over a form. Rather than give you a figure we would have to revise when you arrive, we ask you to describe it and add a photo; the quote comes by email, usually within 1–2 hours during business hours and never later than one business day.

Do you buy televisions?

No. TVs are a hard no for us, along with consoles, tablets, smartphones and printers. Monitors only.

I have a dozen office monitors. Is that worth a call?

Very much so. Quantity changes the arithmetic, and for business lots we will come to you rather than making you load a van.

Get your quote, then bring it in.

We're at 11503 Jones Maltsberger Rd #1138, north of the airport, south of Wurzbach Parkway — Suite 1138, straight down the hallway, last door on the right. Tuesday to Saturday, no appointment, cash the same day. Bring a valid photo ID.

The phone is answered “Alamo Geeks” — that's us. Buyback Geeks is our buyback division, same building, same people.
